We immigrated from the Soviet Ukraine in 1980 to Israel.
We did not stay in Israel long, and spent two years in Greece on our way to Saskatchewan.
Came to Saskatoon in 1982.
We moved to Ontario in 1987.
I sort of wasted my 20's, I never compleated formal education, I did a lot of travel.
In 1993 I met my wife Yoshie.
We stayed in Calgary with my parents until 1998, and then moved to a small town Saskatchewan.
For work I mostly did unskilled labour, construction, warehouses.
Here in Saskatchewan there is little work, and I saw an opportunity in Saskatchewan's land. So my little land business keeps us going here, where otherwise I could not find any other work locally.
We have four children, Joshua born in 1998; Abigail born in 2000, Hannah born in 2003, and Leah born in 2005 in Brazil!
My wife comes from Japan.
We live here in relative comfort. It is safe and quiet life here, yet sometimes we miss the city.
There is lots of room here in Saskatchewan. I really like about Saskatchewan its wide open spaces, four distinct seasons, and land, seeing it farmed, harvested, and especially the smell of soil. I would like through my business to bring a lot of people to rural Saskatchewan like we ourselves came from the city.
