It all started so long ago that most people have forgotten who we are, where we came from and for the most part, it doesn't even matter. As we have been told so many times, and none so true as in this time, knowledge is power. This is so true, so the first thing that I will cover is where our beliefs come from. the religion that we know as Wicca has come from an age old, assorted religion that we know as Paganism. Wicca (from the Latin word Wicce) means many things to many people - Witches, Wise Ones, Farm Dwellers or Country Dwellers (the latter being the litteral meaning), but it goes deeper than that.
This is my personal Book Of Shadows, a gift of life and learning to me and anyone else who reads it. This book encompasses a number of different subjects and subject matter all pertaining to the Wiccan Tradition og TigersEye.
I started this book when I was 26 years old in the year 2000. I have found, by writing this book taht so many of the things that I have taken for granted over the years have come to us on a silver platter and we haven't had to do too much work to get it. But the truth of the matter is that almost everything we have in life has been faught for. From the begining of time right through to the now, everything we know about life has been studied and researched by watching the natural world. This is the domain of the Wicca, or Witch. The knowledge of life is ever increasing, therefore, this book is ever increasing in the ways to discover life and how we became. |
