I have always been interested in the world religions and have been a part of the Christian and Baha'i faith. My wondering had finished as soon as I had met a good friend of mine who proclaimed herself to be a Witch. My curiosity had been peeked and the rest is, as they say, history. My Wiccan journy had begun. I started to see and feel things that I had never experienced before. Things just started to make sense to me. The phases of the moon meant something and the whole world came into it's own within me. I could feel the arms of the God and the Goddess wrap around me and comfort me. I hear them whisper in my ear when I feel low and they lift me up when I'm down. It didn't take long for me to find I was a natural Witch. This may sound strange to those who don't know much about the Craft, but my opinion is that there are those who can learn the Craft (and this can take some time) and there are those who have the Craft within them passed down from their ancestors - that is me. I was able to trace my tree back to the Old Ireland - it is from there that my powers of the Craft come.
The living Earth that we call Gaia called me into the realms of the Craft and from there I learned morew and more. I practiced the rituals and learned about the days that had become important to me in the past when I never knew why. My Birthdays started to mean something other than my just getting old.
So, to all who have also found their path, whether it be Wicca or another religion - Blessed Be and may the Gods and Goddess (Whoever they may be for you) Smile on you always.
