Diane hurried to the booth at the Highland Games. She was
trying not to run late, as she had a dual role. She was
helping Briget with the daggers and swords, plus telling
fortunes as "Rhiannon". Their booth was already starting to
fill. She ducked in and grinned as Briget gave her a hug...
"Lass, you were starting to worry me..."

"Sorry... I got caught in the crush at the gate!" she
chuckled. She was arrayed in Celtic attire as "Rhiannon",
but that would not begin until later that night.

Briget laughed.. "Ye are a pretty sight lass... many men be
fighting for ye..."

"Let's hope not... these things are sharp as hell!" she
said laughing as she pointedly looked at the sharp daggers
and claymores. It was still early yet. The Games were just
beginning. "Go root for your man!" Diane told her.. "I'll
guard the booth!"

Meanwhile Eric Carr wandered through the gates... He had
been interested in this type of a competition for a while.
Since KISS was so close, he figured what the hell... kill a
few hours...

Diane saw him first...her heart beating a rapid tattoo
against her chest. Damn, she nearly fainted.... What was
he doing here?

Briget had just returned from the locaber competition, when
he strolled over, after catching her eyes. He examined the
sharp swords with interest. He began asking Briget many
questions about them, then with a sly grin asked about her.

"Mistress Rhiannon, come forth!"

"Aye, Milady?"

"This wee devil is enquiring about ye. Wants his fortune
told, he does."

"Aye, that I can do. If ye will follow?" Diane spoke,
gesturing to a tent set up outside the booth. He followed
her with good humor. He sat in front of her at the table,
watching her with interest as she cut the cards. "What is
it that ye wish to know, Milord?" she spoke again.

"What does my future hold for me?" he grinned wickedly.

She cut the deck and drew three. She smothered a gasp as
she read the cards to him and the interpretation within
those cards. All Major Arcana.. All positive. His grin lit
up the tent. "Good! That is exactly what I wanted to know.
and what about your future, Mistress? Can you see your
future as well?"

"Tis a bit cloudy at that...at the moment." Diane replied.

He just smiled. "I'm certain it will all become clear to
you... " Taking her by the hand he helped her up and walked
her out of the tent... Her head was spinning. "Thank you,
Milady!" He grinned and then took off to a discreet
distance.

"What a handsome devil he is..." Briget chuckled.

Diane felt like she would see him again.
