"The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is a bridge between hip-hop's old and new voices, a link with its soul, old R&B, and reggae roots." My favorite songs are "Nothing Even Matters" (with DeAngelo), "Everything is Everything," and "Sweetest Thing" (from the Love Jones Soundtrack). Lauryn Hill also cowrote a song with Aretha Franklin entitled "A Rose Is Still A Rose" which is another of my favorite songs.

At 23, Lauryn Hill has one five (5) of the ten (10) Grammys, for which she was nominated at the 1999 Grammy Awards. These accolades included BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR and BEST NEW ARTIST

She has two (2) children by her fiance Rohan Marley, son of the FINE Bob Marley. The oldest child is a boy by the name of Zion (hence the song). The little girl's name is Selah Louise born on November 12, 1998. As a matter of fact, Lauryn was chosen to play Bob Marley's wife, Rita Marley, in an upcoming Warner Bros film. IT IS ONLY FITTING!

It is said that another REFUGEE record will be coming out in the year 2000. Unfortunately, everybody and they mommas tryin to come out with something in the year 2000.
