Chapter Twenty-One

As we approached the front door four other guys climbed out of the two vehicles. They looked at Kevin and he started the introductions.

"Tiffany, this is Nick, Nick Tiffany." He said as a young man with blond hair smiled and shook my hand. "This is Howie." He smiled as a shorter man with longish black hair came up and shook my hand. "Brian." A young guy with a beautiful smile approached and after shaking my hand took the ramaining bags from me. "And last but not least AJ." A very serious looking guy nodded at me from his place near the car.

"So you're Tiffany huh?" He asked.

"Yeah I am, it's nice to meet you...AJ was it?" I asked walking over to him and offering my hand. He accepted my handshake but did not look happy about it. "Won't you guys please come inside?" I asked as I unlocked the front door. "I'll take those bags now, thank you. Let me put them down upstairs and I'll be right back." I ran upstairs and put the bags on the bed quickly put on some flannel pants and a t-shirt and jogged back down the stairs. The guys were all sitting around the living room looking really uncomfortable. "Why don't you guys decide which rooms you want and I'll get something started for dinner." I sighed directing them to the various rooms in the house.

"You don't have to make dinner, we are putting you out enough already." Brian replied as he went upstairs with the others.

"It's no problem, I enjoy cooking for others." I said smiling. I went to work on enchiladas and was thoroughly engrossed in my work when they came back down. I didn't even notice AJ sit  in front of me at one of the bar stools. The phone rang and I reached to answer it. AJ reached for it at the same time and his hand fell on top of mine.

"Sorry, reflex." He apologized going over to a chair.

"Hello?" I answered smiling at AJ that it was ok.

"Hey hon, whatcha doin?" Joey asked.

"Hey you, just working on dinner, what about you?"

"Oh just kicking back in the room, I am so beat, and I can't wait to see you." He whispered and I could tell that the others must have been in the room with him.

"Well, I'll see you soon enough. I'm thinking I'll probably fly out next week sometime. Where will you guys be?"  I could hear him yelling to JC asking where they would be.

"We'll be in Cleveland most of the week."

"Great, I can't wait." I could hear a commotion on the other end and then Chris came on.

"Hey Tiff, what's shakin?"

"Hey cutie, not much just making dinner."

"Oh, what are you making?" He asked, I could almost hear him bouncing around.

"Enchiladas." I replied laughing. "Chris, are you bein mean to Joey?"

"Nah, I just didn't want to hear your mushy stuff any more." He laughed. I heard another rustling and then Justin came on.

"Hey Tiff, how are you? Do ya miss us yet?"

"Hey hot stuff, I missed you guys the minute you left." I said, trying not to let the sadness come out in my voice. "You excited to see me?"

"Yeah we can't wait, you know that. So I hear you've got some strange men in your house. How is it going?"

"It's going good, so far they are perfect gentlemen." I said looking at the men in my living room. They looked back at me and I smiled. "It's quite a disappointment." I laughed and they all looked shocked."Hey Just, let me talk to..."

"Hey Tiff, it's Lance." The deep voice came across the line and made me smile.
