Where I Live...

I live in theh State of Washington in the United States and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in this world!  Here are some photos of the what you can typically see around Washington....but believe me there is tons more then this to see!

This is a creek in the Olympic National Forest which isn't too far from where I was raised and live now...

This is our State Capitol(in Olympia) and it actually has a profound look similar to that of our national capitol.

This in the famous Washington Ferry Boat. We live in an area that has a lot of water and for me to get to the larger city on the other side of the Puget Sound...i.e.  Seattle... I must take the ferry...OR I can sit in traffic for hours on the major Interstate....NOT! The ferries are unique here because it just wouldn't be Washington without them!  This is actually a photo where the big hill behind this ferry is a town called Kingston, where Aaron my husband was raised later in his teenage years  and the neighboring town from where I was raised. Ironically both mine and Aaron's parent live there now.  It's actually neat to see these on the internet offered by Corbis/Yahoo.com! It can really be a small world!

Last,but not least! The ocean..Washington is on the western coast of the United States and we are lucky enough to have such diverse parts of the state. Eastern Washington is where most of the apples eaten in this world come from because it's a prime climate(hot in the summer, cold in the winter and has just enough percipitation to produce the best apples around!)

Whereas Western Washington is known for the rain and the bald eagles and orca whales that come to visit us each and every year. And don't forget about all the FISH! We also are the only state in the United States with so many Active Volcanoes...meaning they are still alive and could errupt any day! But don't let that diverge you from coming! If you haven't ever been to Washington, you are missing out!
