After wandering through the forest aimlessly for some hours, hopelessly lost, you come to the mouth of a cave. Figuring you have nothing to lose, you enter the dark cavern, glad for any kind of change in scenery. You feel your way along the dark corridor. Half an hour passes and you have been walking for such a long distance that there is no light to be seen whatsoever in either direction. If you get lose contact with the wall for even a second you could easily get turned around and be lost forever. Even so, your reluctance to return to the lost wanderings of the forest drive you on. Time passes. Suddenly, you realize the silhouette of your hand in faintly visible...the light is coming from the cave walls! The corridor opens up into a good sized cavern. The cave walls are all glowing a radiant blue. You are disappointed to see that it is empty. Just as you are turning to leave, you see something move out of the corner of your eye. You whirl around and find yourself face to face with a great, blue, snake-like creature with huge, powerful wings. You must not have seen it because its color is so close to that of the cavern walls. | |

You open your mouth to reply, but no sounds come out. Athoos only cocks her head at you quizzically.
I am a flion, if that is what mean to ask. I am the first of my kind to live in this place, though I would not be surprised if others followed. I am not alone however. Lustro, my guardian since before I was hatched and my companion now that I am grown, also lives in this cave with me. He is just returning now.
With that, you turn towards the cave entrance to see a small, white dragon trotting in. He plops himself down in front of you. | |
