You're at the foot of an extremely high range of mountains. These are some strange mountains indeed, for they're made of a peculiar type of blue rock you've never seen before.
Mountains of Magus
The villagers around here call these the Mountains of Magus, because they believe there's magic in the blue mountains. They've also told you of the legend of Luna Lake, the lake in the mountains. It's a small lake, and is hidden high in the mountains. When the moon is full, its reflection is directly in the center of the lake, and all of the spirits of the ancient dragons who used to dwell there are awakened. They've told you of a mountain pass which branches off into a shortcut path which can take you as far as Luna Lake. You're going to ascend the mountains.
You reach the lake. It's almost perfectly round, and perfectly still as well. You rest here for awhile, then take a look around. There are several peaks nearby. You notice a round hole in the side of one, a little ways down from the peak. It looks like the mouth of a cave. You decide to check it out.
You step into a dark, blue cave. The mouth of the cave is the only source of light, and right now it's almost nighttime. As you walk deeper into the cave, you notice it's sloping sharply downward and curving to the right. You must be spiraling deeper into the mountain. Finally, after nearly an hour of stumbling around in the dark, you spot a light a little ways ahead. You make your way towards it, and discover it's an enchanted torch of blue flame. You're in a small round chamber, and the end of the cave. You notice a few side chambers and diamonds sticking out of the walls, but most of all what you notice is the giant nest in the middle of the room. There's a young blue dragon sitting in the middle of it.
