Basin Dragon Breeding

Adult females of every color lay clutches of as little as 6 to as many as 20 eggs. Typically, there will be more of the more common types of eggs, and less of the rarer types (however this is not always the case). There are often more eggs of each of the parents' color types as there usually would be.

Any adult Basin Dragon can breed. If you would like your adult to breed, go to the Adopted Dragons page, find a candidate of the opposite gender, and e-mail his/her owner, asking if they would like their dragon to mate with yours. Basin Dragons mate for life, so it's a big decision.

Some requirements:

1)Both dragons must be adults.

2)The dragons must be from different clutches.

3)Neither of the owners must be breaking any of the adoption rules.

4)I reserve the right to add more breeding requirements as I see fit.

When you're e-mailing an owner, please remember to include your name and e-mail address, as well as your dragon's name. Also don't forget to tell the owner the which dragon your dragon wishes to mate with, as some owners may have more than one.

Basin Dragon owners have the right to reject any potential mate, no questions asked. Feel free to visit the other dragon's page and/or e-mail the other owner with questions etc.

If both of you (and your dragons of course) have decided you'd like to have your dragons mate, you need to e-mail me and let me know about the good news. If you're the owner of both dragons, well then basically you just need to agree with yourself on your decision. Both owners need to contact me, preferrably within a few days. When both of you have e-mailed me, and I have e-mailed you back, the joining will be official. Your dragons will have their first clutch no less than one week later. After the first clutch, you'll both need to email me every time you wish to have another clutch, and NO you can't have more than one clutch at once!

Each owner will have the option to keep up to 2 eggs from each clutch they have. If you own both dragons, you only get 2. Maybe, if I'm in a really good mood, your dragons are extremely well taken care of, and you ask very nicely, I'll let you keep 3, but that's it! And that's a big MAYBE.
