A Devil in the Making.

Dr. Atmaram Kulkarni received his doctorate from Poona University, where for five years thereafter, he served on the faculty. In 1970, Atmaram joined the American Consulate General in Bombay and worked till he retired in 1994 as a political adviser. I say quite a jump from being an adviser to the imperial Americans on the matters small and large to being an adviser, nay, an advocate to the public on how nice a noted personality, such as "Lal Kishen Advani," then the president of "Bharatiya Janata Party," BJP, a right wing, fundamentalist, political wing of the most heinous Hindu, Brahmin Mafia, "Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh," National Volunteer Group," RSS, for short.

RSS personnel work, practically, in anonymity, as they are trained to believe in one man dictatorship. Rajendra 'Rajju Bhaiya' Singh, being the current "Sarsanghchalak," dictator, Lal Kishen could not or would not upstage him, knowingly and willingly. Therefore, any such book that calls itself 'an authentic biography,' on its cover is a misnomer at the best and a matter of reasonable doubt, nay, an outright suspicious, at the worse in nature, unreliable, anecdotal, advocacy piece worth practically nothing to the reader who has no other resources to make a valid judgment on the information provided.

Atmaram comes out with another anecdotal supporting argument to justify his endeavor, mentioning the troubles other authors had in writing biographies of former prime ministers. So big deal. Life is not fair. This book is, mostly, financed and put together by bunch of known RSS workers and sympathizers. The list is long but very unnerving. The major players are all RSS workers, such as the publisher of this book, not a well known commodity, one Kiran Gokhale. Murli Manohar Joshi, sorry, "Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi," the Human Resources Minister in now gutted BJP ministry is another big dude behind it, so says Atmaram.

Zamatmal Wadhwani, Lal Kishen's buddy, threw caution to the winds and helped Atmaram put pieces together. Many former RSS field workers, originally from Maharashtra but assigned to Sindh, the province where Lal Kishen was born, contributed to this Lal Kishen mythology. Vasant Upadhye, a senior journalist, Vasudev and Kishin Mata brothers, Bapu Bhishikar of Poona, Dilip Karambelkar, an editor of the saffron, BJP/RSS Marathi weekly, "Vivek," Bapu Jambhekar of Indore, Ajay Chordia of Ratlam, Kedar of Rajgarh, Rajendra Sharma of Delhi, Dinanath Mishra, Devendra Swaroop also of Delhi, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, Ram Mhalgi, Raghav Ashtekar, Arvind Lele, Ramesh Gune, a veritable laundry list of RSS jaded, core, inner circle people.

Now, tell me Atmaram, why did you bother to make this 'an authentic biography,' and all that crap? What bad things, if any, these RSS goons are going to tell about their hero, the Babri dilapidated mosque demolition demagogue, killer of the five thousand innocent human beings and not even a slap on the wrist, Lal Kishen Advani, honorable, rather dishonorable, home minister of India? Atmaram boasts about personal interviews with these and others, including Lal Kishen's close relatives, Gopi Mirchandani, 82 year-old aunt, Sheela Bhavnani of Bombay, his younger sister and all.

Is it any way of a putting a respectable work? A propaganda piece, sort of, Hindu piece of shit that is what it amounts to. Where is any evidence of cross checking the details, independent verification of the facts? I agree Lal Kishen never talked to you, on record, neither his secretaries, not even his peon. How come you end up being the unofficial, 'official,' biographer? Whatever.

The work reeks of typical RSS hoodwinking and collects tons of material, long held in fading memories of the jaded and faded, retired former RSS workers mentioned above. "Keshav Baliram Hedgevar, aka. Doctor," before he found his disciple, later turned out to be worse than him, one "Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, aka. Guruji,"was pretty spread thin on account of lack of funds and popular support for his fledgling Hindu, Brahmin outfit. In a fit, Hedgevar appointed one D.D Chaudhary, an Arya Samajist, local Hindu leader of Karachi, a ' Sanghchalak,' president of the local RSS branch and soon forgot all about it. That was in 1932, May 10, 1932, to be precise.

This forgotten event is the cause behind Lal Kishen's undying association with RSS and subsequently with Jana Sangh, previous incarnation of BJP. The book goes in rather detail as to how some young RSS workers, handpicked by Keshav turned out this Sindhi snake in the grass, a "Kalia," legendary, mighty snake god who bothered all the natives in mythological account of Krishna's childhood. Krishna, as a little baby, is said to have killed this Kalia snake, king of serpents, with his bare feet. Krishna danced on Kalia's hood after he pulled out Kalia from the lake and all that good stuff.

Atmaram, if I am permitted to compare him with lord Krishna, pulled out this king of saffron snakes from the dry, hot and unbearably hot sands of Sindh, but did not eliminate his mighty power, did not kill him, for the good of the people. That is why, nobody shall remember Atmaram, a lackey of imperial Americans, doing shit picking job as a hired biographer of Lal Kishen Advani.

I appreciate, nevertheless, some kind of information on this notorious criminal, my favorite punching bag. I don't know anything about "Lord Krishna," either. I still knock Krishna down, call him the war-mongering god of Hindus, whenever I get an opportunity. The past of any person, good or bad, is mere curiosity. It matters very little if anyone was a good boy or a bad boy, growing up. What matters, enormously important, is the fact that current manifestation of such a famous, infamous, in case of Lal Kishen, their present ideology and the repercussions derived therefrom.

Go buy this book, no matter what I say about the author or for that matter, the object of this book, one fat Sindhi saffron snake, Lal Kishen Advani. Remember my now famous dictum, "Know thy enemy, more than thou know thy own brother." Keep gathering all the information you can find on this man, a devil in the making, 'Lallu the Kallu,' Lal Kishen Advani, that is.

Mind is a terrible thing to waste, read something other than my usual and cruel characterization of this heinous Hindu, Lal Kishen Advani.
