A Glimpse of Silent Pain by Gemineyez Her clumsy words scratch the surface of my mind As she stands behind the faded line Her hand presses up against the glass As she reaches out to me She looks deep into my eyes And attempts to verbalize her thoughts As I fall into the portals of her soul She cries A tear stained pillow is never alone Yet lonely hands do clench it And darkness swallows bittersweet memories As she burns the pages of her life Undying frustrations Restrain any love from being consumed As her starving heart remains broken And hungry So she bleeds Self infliction preys upon a young girl's life Releasing all of her despair And replacing it with a crimson stain upon her soul Her demonic thoughts carry her Deep into a dream A simplistic paradise An image of unperfect perfection For it was merely a dream And she screams Psychotic incoherencies escape her paranoia As her mental infection continues to spread And unnoticed adjetations Still struggle to be heard In this mute world of potent ignorance Neglections push her harder And further into her mind of conflicting ideas Where her conscience battles for the throne Behind the weeping eyes in her reflection But I just stare back at her And cry
