Goodbye by Trisha Sometimes life can be funny And we must ask ourselves why, Sometimes love can be painful And we must say goodbye. Too many cold words have been spoken And they can't be unsaid, Too many promises have been broken And the tears can't be unshed. Sometimes you can love somebody With all there is of your heart, But sometimes you must leave somebody Because the situation tears you apart. If you love someone, set them free. Never force them to stay. If the love is meant to be, It will somehow find a way. I promise to never forget you. I'll try not to cry. This time love is not enough. It's time to say goodbye.
