How can people turn you in
And even say they care?
And spend the first week with you,
Then act like you're not there?

How can people care so much,
But not see that you're in pain?
They don't notice when you're sad,
And you feel life's gone down the drain.

How can they say they'd miss you
When they're not even around?
What difference would it make
If I were put in the ground?
