the words "I love you"
before they leave you?
HOW could someone utter
Those ever so sacred words
And then rip your heart in two?
I've made up my mind...
THAT is not true love
TRUE love doesn't HURT!
All those wonderful times
And sweet kisses shared
Shouldn't remind one's tears to spurt!
If someone behaves in such a manner,
They MUST have something
They love more to endeavor.
"I love you" is grand to hear
But not at a time like THIS...
Not at the time of goodbye forever.
