Cleaning
Holding your Frog
* When cleaning out the enclosure, your frog will need a place to stay. A small animal carrier will be fine for this short period of time.
* Wash off all climbing surfaces such as plants, rocks, and caves.
* To kill any bacteria on sticks or wood, bake it in the oven for 10-15 minutes on 375 F.
* Wash off sides of enclosure with a wet rag. If your frogs are housed in an aquarium, put a ratio of 1 part bleach: 10 parts water in there. This also helps to kill any harmful bacteria or kill any parasites. (Note: If you do try the bleach
method, be sure to rinse out the aquarium EXTREMELY WELL afterwards.)
