Handling your frog should only be done when nescesary.  If and when the time arrises that you need to hold your frog, follow these simple steps for the frogs health. * Wash your hands. The secretions your skin makes and anything else you may have on your hands (lotions, perfumes, etc) will be absorbed by the   frog. * Gently scoop the frog up from its underside with one hand, and place the other hand in a dome-like shape above the frog so it won't be so frightened.
