INTRODUCTION
The Neverland Pool is a great place to spend an afternoon when the park is crowded. It has trails a slide a live DJ and ofcourse the pool itself. The biggest pool in anihiem. The area is strongly based on Walt Disney's classic masterpiece Peter Pan. The area has some landmarks witch I will point out in this section.
LANDMARKS
captian Hook's Pirate Ship towers above the kiddie area of the Neverland Pool. In the lagoon close by the wiley Crocidile lurks.
Skull Rock.
This towers above all of Neverland Pool. It is a creepy sight. It is home to a Water Slide.
Mermaids Lagoon.
The best spot in Neverland Pool is the Mermaid Lagoon. The whrilpool is verry relaxing expecily in the nightime. The decor of Mermaid Lagoon is blue waves. Notice the mermaid in Mermaid Lagoon. It's Ariel from The Little Mermaid! She never appears in Peter Pan.
The Indian Trails.
The scene in witch John Micheal and The Lost Boys go hunting for indians while singing Following the Leader is the inspiration for this overlooked trail. You will go through the jungle and the cave and end up at the entrance to Skull Rock Slide.
Hangmans Tree
A short atraction is a walk through a creepy cave inside skull rock. Near the end of
the walk look for Hangmans Tree by the entrance to Skull Rock Slide. Walk starts at the Mermaid Lagoon and ends at the Skull Rock Slide entrance.
Indian Hills
in the quee for Skull Rock Slide be sure to look for the indian incampment near the end of the line.
The Bridge.
Okay so this is not a landmark at all but it is always fun to watch the people going down Skull Rock Slide.
WHAT TO DO
Indian Hunt Trail
okay so it is not exactly a thrill-a-seccond like Skull Rock Slide is but still if your a kid at heart you should take some time to enjoy this. Start by the back of Hook's Pirate Ship enjoy the tropical plant life in the jungle then enjoy the coolness of the skull rock area finaly catch a glimpse of the Mermaid Lagoon. This is not a real attraction but a tour like trail I bet if you asked the life gaurds they would not know where it was.
Skull Rock Slide and Kiddie Slide
the best thing to do at The Neverland Pool is go ragging down the Skull Rock Slide. You will encounter a waterfall on your way down. It is freezing if you hit it. Whats ironic about SRS is that you never really go through Skull Rock itself. Its a harrowing journy across the sides of the rock. Still fun but Omient should consider a brief trip inside the caves. Note you must be able to swim to enjoy this atraction because the current at the base of the slide is verry strong. If you have a tot a better choice is mr.Smee's mini slip N slide next to the pirate ship. Your little ones will squeal with delight as they slide down this snake like structure.
Mermaid Lagoon Whirlpool
ahh what better way to spend 10 minutes then in a nice relaxing whirlpool. Okay I really covered everything about this place in the landmark section.
Live DJ
Okay so the quality isn't exactly Rolling Stones but ten year olds will love listening ot Aron Carter A-Teens Bahamen and other made-for-preteens bandds.
Get a Tan
Sit in one of the many lawn chairs and soak up the s.CA sun.
TRIP PLANNING
Okay so planning a trip to a hotel pool is not exacly a verry hard challenge but with the right methods a trip to the Neverland Pool could be an ideal part of your kids trip to DLR.
One Hour: though far from my most enthuiesastic sugjestion if your schedule only allows one hour at the Neverland Pool you can still make it enjoyable with the right planning methods.
When you arive go on Skull Rock Slide then enjoy the s.CA sun on one of the lawn chairs take a swim then relax in the Mermaid Lagoon Whirlpool for awhile. Leave some time to enjoy the Indian Hunt Trail.
Two Hours: Allows you to see more of the highlights. For the first hour follow the method above. Get something to eat at crocs Bits N Bites then tour the whole area. Go on Skull Rock the Mermaid Lagoon Whrilpool and go swimming aggin.
Three Hours: the best ammount of time. Follow the method outlined above for the first and seccond hour then for the third hour re and re-re visit things
Four Hour: Allows an hour of the Disneyland Hotel. Start at the jewelry shop the
scultures are always pretty to look at. If this doesn't strike your fancy perhaps you could spend the time at the game arcade. I recomend Tokyo Wars. Outside be sure to try out Shrunken Neds Mini Jungle Cruises then tour the Kio fish ponds and waterfalls. Look at all the concept art in the lobby then return to your room for a refreshing shower.
Longer Visits: For those of you who stay longer there are tons more things to do at the hotel this is just the tip of the iceberge.

I have improved on the look of the site and also fixed the links so they all work now
went to the pool agian and Skull Rock Slide was open! There was some painting done on the indian hill and the waterfall has been turned off for the time being
well went to the pool this week and everything looks great. Skull Rock Slide was down when I went. Maybe fixing it up. I am really looking forward to seeing what improvments are being made to Skull Rock Slide. This concludes this weeks update. Check back next week.
