| In July of 2000, I bought a Cockatiel for my husband. It was a be-lated birthday gift. When we first brought "Willie" home, I had to hand-fed her once a day for the first week she was home. It was great!! I enjoyed those times that we shared. She would look at me and cry when she knew it was time to eat. We had and still have a wonderful bond. In September, the lady that I bought "Willie" from, called and asked me if I wanted to buy "Willie's" mom and dad. She didn't have the time to spend with them each day and knew that they needed more than what she could give them. So, I took on "Pretty Boy" and "Sadie". I was so excited to have 2 more Cockatiels. After many questions, I learned that, come spring I could begin breeding. So, I spent the next couple of months reading as much as I could about Cockatiels. Then in Janurary 2001, we added "Willow" to the family. A beautiful, 6 month old, Whiteface. Which we paired with our little "Willie". I can't get over the love I have for these birds. The more I see, the more I want!! Just a few days ago, we added one more "Sassy" a 9 month old, Cinnamon Pearl. In February 2001, I set up the breeding box in "Pretty Boy " and "Sadie's" cage. On March 5th, my first egg hatched. So far, I have 3 babies out of five eggs. I was so excited that my first breeding session was a success! | Here are my babies from "Pretty Boy" and "Sadie". Clutch #1 (Left), Three beautiful chicks out of five eggs. Clucth #2 (Right), only 1 baby survived out of five eggs. We named her "Scooter" she hatched on Easter Sunday (2001). |

| "Sadie" She was "Pretty Boy's" mate and together they made some beautiful babies. She left us in Oct. of 2002, at about 12 years of age. She is Mom to the babies in the pictures above and below. |
| "Sassy" Also known as "Viper". That is what the pet store that I bought her from had named her. She was a mean and nasty little thing. Later we learned it was due to a sore that she had on her tongue. After treatment her disposition didn't change much. |
| "Jake and Bubba" These two guys are the last babies that "Pretty Boy" and "Sadie" had together. I still have "Jake", he had a minor medical problem at 5 weeks of age and needed some extra TLC, after that I couldn't find it in my heart to sell him. |
| "Tookie" Rescued from the same lady as "Tiki". He is still with us and is doing great! It's amazing how much a little love and sunlight can do. |
| "Tiki" I rescued her from a parakeet cage in the basement of a lady that didn't want her. She lived with us for about 1 1/2 years before she died. We were never sure about her age, but I do know her last place on earth was a good one. |
