Installation
of bands requires the use of EAPatch.exe, you can download it
here

Extract All Files into your Main NBA Live directory.
- Run
the batch file that comes with the patch.
As
far as I know there is no way to insert two digit values on the
players.dbf file COLOR field automatically so editing of this
file manually is required to make my bands work. What I usually
do is:
- Open
the players.dbf file with MS Excel. If you have a lot of saved
games and want the bands to appear on each saved game, you have
to edit the player.dbf file for each game.
- Look
for the player you wish to put the bands on and change the COLOR
value (I think its in Column "M" of the spreadsheet)
with the new one.
e.g.
Look for the skin file that comes with the patch, skin74.fsh
in this example. Just set the COLOR value to 74. The patch
can be used to other players as long as their COLOR Number
is the same as the one you changed.
- Save
players.dbf in DBIV format.
- Load
the saved game/roster.
