AGE AND DISABILITY RETIREMENT
It's A Great Life If You Can Afford To Pay

INTRODUCTION
It was thirty years ago, and not so far away. I was a Casework Outreach Supervisor; and soon to be Director of a Senior Adult Service Agency. The agency employed Senior Adults as Outreach Workers, recruited volunteers, solicited organized resources, and launched a wide variety of direct client services to the disabled, homebound, and Senior Adults living in the city. With the exception of myself and a Secretary, the next youngest person on our staff was the Data Clerk at 62 years of age. Everyone else was older, and most were substantially older.

Each and every Senior had retired [first] at age 65 years: Everyone and everything was in place, to the best of their ability.

By age 75 years they were back in post retirement employment.
