Here is program will make those REALLY BIG E-TEXTS much easier to read.
Among the GIANTS are the Braille Book Review, Cassette Catalogs and Talking Book Topics put out by the National Library Service For The Blind And Physically Handicapped [NLS].
You will enjoy the ease of use and the speech friendliness.
By -the- way, you can find these GIANTS on the ftp file server at: ftp.loc.gov.
-
- Download NLS Catalogs Site:
- ftp://ftp.loc.gov/pub/nls/catalogs
- Download NLS Talking Book Topics:
- ftp://ftp.loc.gov/pub/nls/tbt/
I got tired of loading these files in to my word processor to read them, so
I decided to write my own program that would speed up the ordering process.
So now I use this program to create a book list then simply email it to my
cooperating library.
You might want to call your cooperating library and ask if they have an email address or a fax number.
So that you too can enjoy this fast and easy ordering of books.
I don't work for the NLS, I just enjoy reading and was looking for a more efficient way of going through the various bbr, tbt and cassette catalog files.
BCTR Version 1.8.3 Features:
