The Empowerment Zone is the persona and web presence of Jamal Mazrui. The Empowerment Zone Web Site is speech friendly and acessible to screen reader, text -to- speech, programs. The Home Index page is HTML text, and most text link items are ASCII.

HTML font size has been increased on the Index page for Low Vision Users. The web site text -presentation- format is not restricted [by frame graphics], and will allow large salable browser font sizes without further magnification. Starting with the Table Of Contents the majority of all text is an active text link.

The Empowerment Zone is an eclectic collection of E-Text References. Covering a wide, and diversified, range of topics and subjects. Which goes beyond the usual compendium of disablity -and- disabled related resources.

From academic to how -to- application, you will find reference sources for subjects and topics dealing with personal improvement and human development, independent living and technical skills, human relationships and sexuality, physical and emotional health, politic and policy, action and activism, government and governance.
