EM'LY is a text -to- speech email reader plugin utility for Eudora.
Although Em'ly may not be appropriate for the blind, the program is operable for low vision users.
The speech quality is mechanical, but understandable.
Unlike general purpose text -to- speech screen readers, Em'ly is a single purpose program for MS Windows 95+, and requires a SoundBlaster [type] sound card.

If you've ever complained that email seems somewhat impersonal, you might find a new friend in Em'ly Executive. This plug-in adds an audio dimension to your Eudora Light or Eudora Pro email application. At your request, Em'ly will read any opened email message using text-to-speech technology. You can teach Em'ly to pronounce certain words the way you like to hear them spoken, and you can customize your own hot keys to create filters, skip to the next message, or trash a message. Em'ly will work with Eudora Pro or Light versions 3.0. But it is Not Compatible with the Upgraded Version of Eudora 2.0.
