Ultra Hal For Windows 95
As 2001 appreaches what ever happened to Hal or will we have to wait for 2010?
Today Hal is on his way. Hal has evolved to become Ultra Hal For Windows 95.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Natural Language program. You can
conduct conversations with Ultra Hal,
and he will make reasonable responses.
You chat by typing messages, and Hal
speaks through your sound card. Hal's
answers aren't always relevant, but you
can teach Hal and he will even learn
from conversations. Registration fee $25.00 [US].

Bob OS for Windows 3.1, v2.0
Bob OS is an artificial intelligence
natural language conversation
program. If you're not sure what this is,
don't worry--the purpose of this
program is mystifying even after you've
used it. Basically, you type something to
the computer, and it types an answer
back. In theory, this program allows you
to have a conversation with your
computer because it has the ability to
learn language and phrases. The main
problem is that only the registered
version allows Bob to learn--the
answers you get in this trial version are
only mildly intelligent gibberish. A face
shows how Bob feels, and you can save
and create new users to talk with Bob.
Children might enjoy using this program
as a game. Registration fee $10.00.
