How the vision came about

At one time of my early Christian life, I became very hungry for God to use me for His glory. This is all I was asking Him to do from that time onwards, for the next 6 weeks, then, I had the vision. This great hunger I felt deep within my spirit for God to use me for His glory came about when shortly after I got saved, I began to write lots of Christian songs. I would write the lyrics of each song on lined A5 sheets of paper pulled out from the middle of A5 exercise books. At the time, I was attending and a member of a university campus fellowship, and I would constantly see how God was using the praise and worship team of the campus fellowship musicians to edify the body of Christ and lead her into praise and worship at fellowship meetings held once a week. Meanwhile, the number of songs I was writing began to increase at such an alarming rate that sometimes I was knocking off one song in 5 minutes or writing 2 songs simultaneously. This was definitely the Lord's doing and a result of His divine inspiration as I gave more and more of myself to Him on a daily basis.

Up until that time, and for quite a while after I had the vision, I was not aware of what a vision was from a biblical perspective, only from a worldly one. In other words, I did not know what a godly vision was, only a worldly one.

Soon after, my best friend at the time, Folajimi Ogunledun now Folajimi Adedoyin who was attending and a member of the same church as myself, Jesus House, London (one of the many parishes of the Redeemed Church of God worldwide) introduced me to a fantastic Christian book called Understanding Vision by Bishop David Oyedepo which I read. This book blessed me tremendously and gave me the much needed understanding and knowledge I desired to embark on this marvelous vision given to me by God and of biblical vision in general.

A few years later, Pastor Agu Irukwu, who was and still is the Senior Pastor of the church I was attending and a member of at the time, Jesus House, London (one of the many parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide) gave sound biblical teaching on vision during a Sunday morning service which truly blessed me and reinforced my understanding and knowledge of biblical vision in general.

What the vision, Gold (Gospel of Last Days) Records is

Gold (Gospel of Last Days) Records is a new, independent Christian/Gospel music production company and record label based on the Wirral (a small peninsula near Liverpool) Merseyside, England, United Kingdom. It is the vision God gave me, the Head of Business of Gold Records about 16 years ago.

Introduction to the Vision

The following text is an introduction and write-up of the vision, Gold (Gospel of Last Days) Records and is being published on the world wide web to the whole wide world via this website, www.goldrecords.org so that as God instructed His prophet, Habakkuk in the book of Habakkuk 2:2 "........ he may run that readeth it".

Basically, the purpose of this page of the website is to tell the whole world the vision God gave the Head of Business of Gold Records about 16 years ago, and so that he may run that reads it. In other words, so that whoever reads it and is convicted in their heart by the Holy Spirit that God wants them to run with it may do so (in whatever capacity He has called them to).

Like God told the prophet and watchman, Habakkuk to do in Habakkuk 2: 2-3, I have done here in The Vision below. God told Habakkuk to and said and I quote "....... Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." God says in the following verse and I quote "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry".

The Vision

About 16 years ago, I was at home sitting down on a sofa in my living room meditating on the Word of God when I suddenly dozed off for about 2 minutes or so. It was during this time I dozed off that I had the vision.

In the vision, I saw a record, and on the record, a label. On the label, I saw the words GOLD RECORDS written in capital gold letters and directly under that I saw the words GOSPEL OF LAST DAYS which GOLD stands for or is an acronym for also written in capital gold letters but much smaller. The reason the words GOSPEL OF LAST DAYS were much smaller is so that they could be exactly the same length as the word GOLD just above it. There was a small gap between both lines. (See front page of website for a clearer picture of what I am talking about). Below the words GOSPEL OF LAST DAYS, I saw the most amazing and beautiful picture I have ever seen in all my life. This is no exaggeration.

In the picture, I saw a white gate that was so white and bright that the only way I can describe it is heavenly. Immediately I saw the gate, I was in great awe of God and it struck me as being heavenly because of the sheer unearthly brilliance of its whiteness. I have never seen any white as white and as bright as the white of this gate on earth before. As if that was not enough, I then saw a street of glittering solid gold leading to the gate but to my utter amazement, it was transparent like glass. The background of the picture, which actually covered the entire label, was a bright dark blue sky with brilliant white clouds.

I was in a state of bewilderment, deep thought (reverie), absolute amazement and then utter excitement at what I had just seen for only half a minute or so (although it seemed like forever) when God said, and I quote "Revelation 21: 21" in my left ear. In my excitement, (obviously because God had just spoken to me about what I had just seen, the vision) I opened my Bible (which I was holding) to the scripture and read it and I quote "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass."

This biblical scripture describes the picture I saw on the record label in the vision to a t except that in the picture I saw only one gate but the scripture mentions twelve. I seem to remember coming across the scripture in the Bible momentarily once in the past, weeks before I had the vision but did not understand it so, I did not pay any attention to it at the time. Hence, I forgot all about it until God took me back to it weeks later by saying Revelation 21: 21 in my left ear after I had the vision as aforementioned. It was amazing enough for me to have seen a street of glittering solid gold that was transparent like glass, but to read in the scripture that the twelve gates were twelve pearls and that every several gate was of one pearl was just too much. Why? This is because it means that the gate I saw in the picture was made from a single pearl, which I am sure you know is a small rounded lustrous and usually white solid formed in the shells of certain oysters and prized as a gem. The gate I saw in the picture is one of the twelve gates of the new Jerusalem (each of the twelve gates are identical and represent each of the twelve tribes of Israel) and the gate of the street of gold transparent like glass is the street I saw leading to it. How can a gate of a whole city, the new Jerusalem, be of one pearl i.e. be made from one pearl as Revelation 21: 21 says because a pearl is such a small stone even though it is precious? Only God can do such a thing. Only He can perform such a miracle. Praise God! Hallelujah!

The vision, Gold (Gospel of Last Days) Records is an independent and the most unique Christian/Gospel music production company and record label in the world in that unlike any other Christian/Gospel record company, its main and ultimate purpose is to seek out, sign, record, produce and release records of Christian recording artists (music ministers) who God have called to her and have called to record and minister songs with lyrics that are interpretations of biblical prophecies of the last days, like those in the books of Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Revelation etc. These prophecies will be interpreted by genuine interpreters of God who may or may not also be prophets and prophetesses of God, and their interpretations of these prophecies will be set to lyrics by Gold Records lyricists and set to music by Gold Records composers (songwriters), put on CDs and released by Gold Records worldwide, so that unbelievers who otherwise would not give their lives to Christ will listen to and understand them clearly and when such prophecies come to pass, say 2 or 3 years later, they will remember that they heard them in songs of Gold Records Christian recording artists or to be more precise their interpretations. This will draw them to Christ and in turn they will give their lives to Him, readily. Amen!

Consider the Holocaust, the Yom Kippur War, the Gulf War, 9/11, 7/7, the Afghanistan War, the Iraq War (and Saddam Husseinís eventual execution) and the Tsunami. Biblical prophets like Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Daniel etc prophesied these wars and catastrophes hundreds of years ago. These are prophecies of the last days, most of which have been fulfilled before now, some of which are being fulfilled at present, and others will be fulfilled in the future and will continue being fulfilled until Christ's Second Coming. Christ himself said in the book of Matthew 24: 6 - 7 and I quote " And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers placesî. In the book of Mark 13: 7 - 8, He said exactly the same thing and I quote, ìAnd when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.î

Now, imagine Gold Records had released a CD single of one of it's recording artists worldwide about 9/11 based on biblical prophecy and interpreted in the lyrics of the song on the single say 3 or 4 years before it actually happened. Can you imagine the effect and impact it would have on the whole world including many unbelievers worldwide? It would turn many of them to Christ who otherwise would not have been saved. This is what God has told me will happen in the future and is the main and ultimate purpose of the vision.

Due to the fact that the main and ultimate purpose of the vision will take years to even start talk less of being accomplished, Gold Records is currently seeking young, unsigned Christian artists who believe that they have been called to her by the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
