TRPC dues are $80 annually per family. Dues can be paid quarterly. A one time TRPC initiation fee of $25 is required of a new member family. A new member family will receive a D manual, D standard, binder with policies and a PC pin for the member(s) at their first rating. Local fees are used to fund mounted and unmounted clinics, ratings, rally equipment, TRPC newsletter, and new member materials.
In special situations scholarship funds for club dues and occasional other expenses can be applied for from TRPC. Priority will be given to youth members who are independent of their parents. Other situations may apply. Funds are limited to one year. A second year may be requested if the member is participating in club fundraising opportunities.
Each parent is encouraged to pay a $5 sponsor fee. This fee will entitle the parent to vote at meetings.
Adults who are not parent sponsors have the option of joining TRPC as Sponsors or Friends. The fee for each will be $30 per year. Sponsors are entitled to vote on official business at TRPC meetings and priority in riding in TRPC clinics. Friends will have a priority in riding in TRPC clinics, but will not have a vote at meetings. Voting sponsors are expected to attend monthly meetings.
TRPC clinic cancellation policy: Registrants will be responsible for payment, unless the organizer is notified 24 hours prior to the start of the clinic. Exceptions can be made if a veterinarian's or doctor's certificate is presented to the organizer.
A TRPC member in good standing is defined as one who is current with all financial obligations to TRPC and has attended 60% of TRPC member meetings in the current year.
Club ratings will be offered in the spring and fall each year. Members requesting to be tested at the D-3 to C-2 level must complete a rating request form. This completed form must be submitted to the DC or Ratings Chair by April 1 for spring ratings and July 15 of the fall ratings.
Club members completing a national testing (B, H-A and A) will be reimbursed 75% of the national testing fee. Only one reimbursement per level is allowed.
TRPC will pay the total entry fee for all members in good standing wishing to attend Quiz Rally. Members that attend Quiz will have priority for mounted rally teams and scholarships. At rallies $50 of the stable manager's fee will be paid by TRPC.
Winter study sessions are held regularly During January, February and March.
TRPC normally is able to send as many Pony Clubbers to rallies as are interested and are qualified. In the unlikely event that we are limited to the number of teams and participants that can be sent to a rally, we will select members of TRPC teams based on their participation at current year activities.
Personal accounts will be maintained for each TRPC member. These moneys will be available for payment of Pony Club related activities and fees. These accounts will be included in the TRPC checking account and administered by the treasurer. Moneys placed in personal accounts will be available for the Pony Clubber to use during the current year and the subsequent year. Moneys remaining longer than this will be transferred to TRPC. Means to earn money for personal accounts include:
*Greenery sale profit will be shared between the Pony club member and TRPC.
*Earning shares from USCC/Paramount concession stands. The first 10% of earnings goes to TRPC. The balance is divided among workers.
*Earnings from Sodexho catering, etc., that are paid hourly will be placed in that member's account.
*Rally refunds.
