Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and definitely my favourite. It's got something for everyone: some fine examples of Gaudi architecture including the wonderful Sagrada Familia church, many fine restaurants and lively bars and clubs as well as plenty of opportunities to just relax, walking in the old town, soaking up the sun or sitting at one of the many ocean-front cafes enjoying a glass of something, watching the world go by.
