Fibre types and the selection process.
Yarn Types. 
Fabric Constructions and properties and
Fabric finishing technique
 

Edwin obtained a degree in Textile Technology at the University of Bradford in 1969 and has been an ATI since 1970.  In 2000 he  was awarded the title of  FTI.  He has been involved in the development and production of industrial  textiles for virtually all his working life.   During the last 25 years of  which he specialised in industrial filtration.
He is currently Technical Manager for Madison Filter Haslingden in which  capacity he become involved with virtually all aspects of textile
technology- from fibre properties through fabric production to finishing processes and  fabrication techniques.
