INDUSTRIAL SEMINAR PLUS SCHOOLS MEMBERSHIP

The Textile Institute is making a special offer to schools of an introductory seminar to fashion industrial practice linked to Schools Membership. Acceptance of the offer will allow the school to nominate one member of teaching staff to participate in the seminar and receive one years special individual membership benefits together with the quarterly magazine TEXTILES which is aimed at schools readership. The nominated member of staff will be eligible to apply for Textile Institute qualifications and also able to attend Textile Institute events. These include the Master Classes in Fashion Engineering commencing on Saturday 28th April 2001 in London. (See separate information sheet) 

The introductory seminar will be suitable for teachers of GCSE, AS and A Level Textiles Technology, and GNVQ Manufacturing. Prior knowledge of industrial pattern cutting is not essential. The seminar is offered simultaneously in LONDON and MANCHESTER with similar but not identical programmes. This sheet details the Manchester programme.
