Rampage--When driver Todd Frolik inched his monster truck, Rampage, up to the starting line for his first professional drag race heat in 1994, he knew he was facing some of the best trucks on the tour, but he took his own advice, "Don't be afraid to stay in the throttle and enjoy the ride," and rode it all the way to the winner's circle.Todd recalls the race: "It was my first time ever driving! I won the whole race. First round was RoboShark, second round was Snake Bite, third was Grave Digger. Then, in the finals, I beat BIGFOOT!"Todd loves monster truck racing because "it's exciting and unpredictable, kind of like the kids who love monster trucks." What's his favorite thing about racing monster trucks? "The times in a drag race when you can pick up the front wheels off the starting line and carry them all the way to the second set of cars!"When he's not on a "rampage" with his monster truck, Todd drives a 1995 Dodge Dakota. His fastest recorded drag time is 4.68 seconds, and his favorite opponent is fellow Dodge monster, Bear Foot.Rampage Fast FactsOwner Fred ShaferDriver Todd FrolikHometown Pontoon Beach, Illinois, USAVehicle Body 1996 Dodge Ram pickupEngine 572 c.i.
