Aeolus
Tower before you is a massive beast, the likes of which you have
rarely seen. His
upper body is that of an extremely muscular man, but his lower
body is that of some
race of mighty war horses. Appearing like a juggernaut,
completely covered in tough
looking armor made of a strange metal that you have never seen
before, he is quite
formidable. In his left hand, he wields a huge battle axe that to
a human would
require both hands and much of his strength. However, he hefts is
lightly and flicks
it from side to side with little or no effort at all. In his
right hand, he wields
a massive broadsword that appears quite powerful and utterly
nasty. He is flanked
on both sides by huge, fierce looking lions that eye you with
intense curiousity
and caution. When he notices you looking at him, he gives you a
slight nod and a
smile. Appearing completely unaggressive, he is like a gentle
giant deftly moving
about the room and conversing with the various patrons. After a
moment or two, he
glances back over at you and you notice something about his eyes
that seems to
touch your very soul. It's like a fire, burning and cleansing as
it searches for
purity of mind, heart and most importantly soul. This fire is his
hatred of magic
that mortals steal from the gods like the petty thief around the
corner and use
it for their own gains, usually to their disadvantage because
with each usage, they
corrupt a part of their soul that can never be cleansed or
regained. Truly, they
cheat themselves of glory and honor, fighting from a distance
preferring to throw
cursed magic at their opponents rather than fighting directly.
For those that walk
in the light that choose to use magic, he truly prays for their
souls since a
brother in light is a brother none the less. He feels that it is
his duty and
purpose to help to guide his brothers to truth and honor by
showing them that no
mortal needs magic. As you contemplate on this figure, he motions
to his lions and
they dart off into the forest with him slowly trotting along
behind...
