Demo Version 1.0b -- You'll need to unzip it and have QBasic. I think QBasic comes with the RPGDemo. If so, you can download the RPGDemo below. Otherwise, you'll have to find it...To run the demo:
AT THE DOS PROMPT TYPE:RPGDEMO
Controls: Use the numeric keypad (with the numbers and the arrows) and keep Num Lock on. Enter selects an action, and Space Bar cancels.

If you don't have it, you'll need QBasic in the same directory. You can find QBasic by searching Yahoo for "QBasic".
IMPORTANT: Please read the following FAQ before mailing me about the demo.
Q: What do all those occupations do?
A: Different jobs have different abilities. For example, a Black Mage can cast Black magic, and a Dragoon can Jump. If you've played a Final Fantasy game, you should have a good idea what they do.
Q: Wow! I like the demo. When will it be finished?
A: The demo will not be finished. Due to a number of errors, the game won't work without a complete overhaul. The demo is as far as the game can go.
Q: I think I found a bug.
A: The demo is riddled with bugs (actually, it just has a few, but "riddled" is a cool word), but that doesn't mean it's unplayable. Ignore it and go on with the game.
Q: Where's the menu?
A: There is no menu in the demo.
Q: How do I save my game?
A: Press "S" when you're walking around. Press 0 through 9 to choose a save slot. If you want to load, press "L" and then the slot number.
Q: I finished the demo. Is there anything else?
A: Try Adventures of Lara.
