"Hah, hah, hah! I knew that Atma would get them to lead those wretched Returners here. They shall pay dearly for the destruction of my body. Hah, hah, hah," Kefka said. No more did he look like a human but instead, Kefka adapted the body of Maduin, Terra's father.

"Okay Atma, now what. Do we still follow you into the mountain or what?" Edgar asked.

"Of course. How else would we be able to find Kefka, you fool," Atma called out. Suddenly, an Esper came up from behind.

"Where do you think you humans are going?" the Esper asked.

"Don't worry Zaq, there with me," Atma told Zaq, a fire Esper. He was an Esper, with the body of a Pegasus. He was capable of unleashing such magic as Nuke, Flare, Inferno, Exploder, and others. "You wouldn't mind if I joined? I really want to get Kefka for all he's done to us. You know, like treating us like slaves and stuff."

"Sure! The more the merrier. Also the more powerful we become," Relm said.

"You know Atma. These other people are Terra and Edgar Figaro, Sabin Figaro, Locke and Celes Cole, Cyan Garamonde, Relm Arrowny, Shadow, Mog, Umaro, and Troy Atkinson, and I'm Setzer Gabbiani," Setzer announced to Zaq.

At that moment, everybody said "hi" to Zaq. Zaq said "hi" back to them.

"What! No! Why does Zaq want to go with them?" Kefka asked out loud.

"Okay, let's go get that madman everybody," Shadow called out.

"You don't suppose my Esper powers will come back soon now that we are on the island of the Espers, do you Edgar?" Terra asked Edgar out of curiosity.

"I honestly don't know. I really don't know but if it does, do you think you can control your power?" Edgar asked back.

"I really don't about that. I probably can control them because I did learn to control them after that battle with Phunbaba about five years ago. I probably won't be able to control them because I haven't used the powers in such a long time," Terra told Edgar. "I'm scared! What if they do come back? Kefka might be able to control me."

"Remember what Atma said. He said that you were the true ruler of the Espers. If you try hard enough, you can probably control him," Edgar told Terra.

"Okay, now what Atma. What happens now," Cyan asked.

"Well, in order to get past security, either Zaq or I have to give out our security number. It gets checked with our voice tones. If they match, then we can enter," Atma said.

"I think I'll give mine," Zaq said.

As he gave off his number, 8702, a voice said, "Checking database files for Esper designate #8702. Esper designate: Zaq. Voice match search to number. It is correct. You may enter."

"It sure doesn't like to give much expression when that thing says something, does it," Relm said.

"It's called a security computer. Our race is much more advanced than yours, by at least 100 years," Zaq told Relm. "OK, everybody get through the doors quick. They only remain open for about fifteen seconds. As they all ran towards the entrance, everybody but Terra, Atma Weapon, and Zaq were in awe. What they were seeing was one of the most beautiful places that they have ever been in.

"Wow, how do you keep this place looking the way it is?" Setzer asked.

"Lot's of hard work by everyone. Except for Kefka that is," Zaq said as he pointed to a castle ahead of them, about five miles straight ahead. "Down there is Kefka's Castle. He always sits on his lousy butt all day," Zaq said.

"Hey, Atma! Can you take us down to the castle?" Edgar asked.

"Sure, I guess so," Atma said. "Everybody get on my back."

"Get the weapons systems ready everyone," Kefka called out. "We have some terrorists en route to destroy us."

"Yes sir!" all the Espers called out. At their weapons room, all the Espers prepped the weapons systems and aimed at Atma. "Fire 1!" As the guided missile was fired, it moved quickly towards Atma and the Returners.

"Atma watch out. A missile is coming straight towards you," Celes yelled out. Atma went down enough so that the missile would hit the humans on his back.

"Uummmffff!" everybody let out. Within impact, the missile had exploded, and knocked everybody on to the ground just steps away from Kefka's castle, but luckily for them, they had not been killed.

"CURE 3!" Terra called out as she got up to her feet. As the words escaped her mouth, every body seemed to be rejuvenated.

"Wha,…, what happened? Where's Atma? I want to take him down completely for what he did to us," Sabin yelled out loud.

"Look, I know you do Sabin. We all do but first we have to get to Kefka and destroy him once and for all," Edgar told Sabin, trying to keep him at bay. "Okay everybody let's go get Kefka." They all started to run towards the door which was, ironically, open. Minutes later, they find Kefka in his throne room just sitting on his throne.

"So, I hear you've come here to stop me," Kefka said.

"Look, Kefka, we don't want any of this funny stuff. Just give up now and there won't be any trouble," Locke called out as he pointed to Kefka.

"Terra, what's wrong?" Edgar asked. He looked at her and noticed her face.

"Kefka look's just like my father, Maduin!" Terra said.

"I guess we'll just have to fight you for peace," Shadow said.

"Kefka, need some help," a voice called out.

"Why, of course Atma," Kefka said.

"Atma! You betrayed us. You said that you would help us destroy Kefka. Now your willing to help Kefka?" Celes said.

"That's where your wrong. I never betrayed you. I just led you into a trap, fools," Atma said.

"Now let's fight! For one more time," Kefka called out. "METEO!" As Meteo was released, it was aimed straight at Mog and Cyan and killed them both instantly.

"ULTIMA!" Atma called out. As Ultima was released, it killed Umaro and Troy instantly.

"You two have already killed enough! Now you shall taste raw power," Terra called out. Suddenly, a burst of energy entered Terra, Edgar, Shadow, Sabin, Relm, Setzer, Locke, and Celes. "My magic! It's back! I guess being here in the Esper world rejuvenates magic," Terra called out. "I'm then guessing that all of you have your magic back." Everybody nodded. "Well, then, I think it's time to try our magic out to its fullest. Everybody, I think that we should combine our magic's to create the ULTIMATE MAGIC ATTACK! First, I've got to cast Life 1 on Troy, Umaro, Mog, and Cyan," Terra called out. As she called out Life 1, it was cast on the four.

"Whoa, what happened?" Troy asked.

"Atma sort of cast Ultima on you and Umaro. Kefka also cast Meteo on Mog and Cyan," Terra told Troy.

"So, why is Cyan still laying there, Kupo?" Mog asked. Everyone looked towards the lifeless body of Cyan.

"Hey, Cyan! Wake up! Now's not the time to be playing jokes," Sabin shouted. Celes reached her hand out towards Cyan's face.

"It's no use. He is dead. Though he was powerful, he was still pretty old. Being 55 years old and fighting Atma and Kefka simultaneously doesn't help," Edgar said.

"That's it Kefka and Atma. You may be able to betray us but when you kill one us, you have to deal with us all! Now, I think its time we unleash our Ultimate Magic Attack!" Locke called out.

"Troy, Mog, and Umaro! You'd better clear out of here quick. You guys are still pretty weak and we don't want you guys to get hurt or even killed during battle," Shadow called out. Umaro picked up Troy and Mog as if they were baseballs.

"Okay Kefka, Now is the time for your destruction. Everybody, get ready to unleash you most powerful magic you believe you have," Edgar called out.

"You cannot destroy Atma or I. We are ultimate power. You will just make us more powerful!" Kefka called out.

"You wanna make a bet on that?" Relm called out.

"ULTIMA!" Terra called out.

"PEARL!" Edgar called out

"BIO!" Shadow called out.

"FLARE!" Sabin called out.

"MERTON!" Relm called out.

"FIRE 3!" Setzer called out.

"BOLT 3!" Locke called out.

"ICE 3!" Celes called out.

As the magic's went to a certain point to meet, they all fused together to become the ultimate magic attack.

"Let's see how you like this Atma and Kefka!" Terra told them. "MAGIC UNLEASH!!"

"Everybody, hurry up! We've got go before our magic destroys the building!" Edgar shouted.

"You can't leave us in here!" Kefka shouted.

"Sorry, but we can do whatever we want,' Celes shouted back.

"FIRE 3!" Zaq called out. As the magic was released, it went straight to the door to fuse it shut. "EXPLODER! I think that should keep you inside," Zaq called out.

"Zaq! Come on! Hurry up!" Relm shouted. Seconds later, the Returners escape the building. Suddenly, the castle explodes.

"WALL 2!" Terra called out. The magic surrounded everyone from the

flying debris of the building.

Later that day, as Terra and her friends prepare for their trip back to their homes, all the Espers come up to Terra. "We are so sorry for the troubles we have caused you. Kefka seemed to have brainwashed us. Will you ever forgive us?" one Esper asked.

"Of course. We all know it wasn't your fault. We have all battled Kefka before, except for Troy and Zaq. We all know what he is like," Terra replied.

"So, would you like to become our queen?" another Esper asked.

"I am so grateful but I am no longer Esper. You see I was only half-human and half-Esper. I lost my Esper part in a battle with Kefka's body five years ago. Now, I'm sorry to say that I am no longer Esper," Terra announced. "Actually, I know someone who would make terrific ruler for you. Though I might not have known for very long, but he stands by everyone, human or Esper alike. That character is Zaq."

"Wha…!? You shouldn't have… Terra! I mean, I feel so honored to have be appointed ruler of the Esper world," Zaq tells Terra.

"So Edgar, maybe now we can get some peace and quiet now that Kefka is gone?" Terra asked her husband.

"Right. I think we should get some sleep," Edgar replied.

"Locke, come on. I thought I said you were going to be late for work if you keep on coming here to see Rachel?" Celes said.

"Your right! Life goes on. I think that I will only see Rachel on special occasions. Well, I guess I'm off to work," Locke said to his wife. He gave her a little peck on the cheek.

"Come one Relm, I really need to go to the bathroom. I've been sitting her for 4 ½ hours straight while your painting my picture," Shadow said, nervously.

"Okay, just hold on another minute. I'm almost done," Relm said.

"Daryl, wherever you are this airship will have a special dedication for you no matter what happens," Setzer as he was staring at a portrait of his friend.

"Kupo! Umaro, where are you!" Mog called out.

Suddenly, out of almost nowhere, Umaro appeared. "Ungah! Heh, heh, heh!" Umaro called out. He started to laugh like a hyena as he seen how spooked Mog had just become.

"Sire, what should we do?" a Doma guard asked.

"How about if we begin work on a statue of Cyan Garamonde to celebrate what he has done for us all," Troy replied.

"Sire, you have been invited to the human world for a banquet in honor of you and your human friends defeating Kefka and Atma. Would you like to go?" an Esper guard had said.

"Of course I would. I've always wanted to see how those crazy humans act in their world!" Zaq joked.
