Original SCURK

Living in Chicago, I am always looking at the modern glass towers with reflections of  surrounding buildings and clouds playing off  the buildings.... This is what I was trying to duplicate with this tile.

This tile was scratch built using Paint Shop Pro and SCURK.

City Design Tip:

It seems that everyone wants to build huge tiles that rival the Sears Tower or Petrona Towers in scale. OK...that’s cool...but if you want to see the buildings in your  layout, then you are going to have to create some spacing between your tiles. As far as my city views go, I am using W.M. Weburg tree sets in place of my light industrial tiles to open up areas.

The cute idea here is that not only do I have some nice landscaping, but I also am building low pollution light industry that supports the residential and commercial tiles. The trick is that the light industry works underground serving the commercial hubs. But, above ground, my light industry serves the landscaping needs of the city.
