"Where... Where are we Zero?" X asked Zero as he gave him a worried look. "I felt the world vanish a few minutes ago."

"Yeah, me too." Zero replied as he looked for Sigma. "Did you see where Sigma go?"

"No Zero." X said to his partner. A strange but familiar noise filled his ears. "Zero, watch out!"

As soon as Zero heard this he jumped into a backflip. "Geez, thanks X, now that was close!"

"Come on Sigma. Stop playing games!" X shouted to Sigma, even though he couldnīt see him. "Show up now, or, are you afraid?" X said sarcasticly.

"All right X." Sigmaīs voice boomed from everywhere and nowhere at the same time (strange, isnīt it?), and then, Sigma appeared right in front of him. "I see youīre not afraid of dying once again. Then, Iīll make your wish come true!"

"Dream on Sigma!" Zero exclaimed as he charged his Zero-buster. "I donīt care where we are, this will be your end! I donīt care if I have to stay here all my life."

"X, you should keep your eyes opened... or I should say closed!" Sigma said as he shot some kind of liquid all over Xīs eyes.

"What the..." X said as some strange liquid entered his eyes. "I... I canīt see! Zero, help me Zero!" While X rubed his eyes trying to take that liquid of,. Sigma grabbed his arms and kicked him three times on his sides. X fell to the ground with a groan. Zero ran to help X get on his feet, but Sigma intercepted him and punched him right on his chest, and flew Zero against the opposite wall. "Zero... Zero... Where are you Zero?"

"X, donīt trust your eyes!" Zero shouted at X, "trust your other senses!"

"Iīll try, but Iīd never fought without seeing my enemy!" X replied at Zero, "Itīs something hard to do, but Iīve got to!"

"Oh. come on X." Sigma laughed at X as he tried to find him. "Itīs no good. Surrender now X or Iīll destroy Zero and the rest of the Hunters!" Sigma threatened X as he kicked him on his chest. X fell to the floor, but stood again. "Itīs no use X!" Sigma replied.

"I donīt care Sigma! Iīll try it as many time as it takes to destroy you!" X exclaimed as he engaged his X-Saber. X tried to cut Sigmaīs arm, but he didnīt even touch him! "Iīve got to learn!" X said to himself. "Iīll try it one more time!" X used his Saber again, but this time, he slashed Sigmaīs arm in half. Sigma screamed in pain as X prepared to give him the final blow.

"No, this canīt be!" Sigma replied as he saw X run towards him. "How can you know where I am? How could you cut my arm?" Sigma asked desperately as he held his arm.

"Well Sigma, Iīll tell it to you before you die." X began explaining as he prepared to slash Sigma in half, using the Sigma-vaccine he took from Dr. Cainīs lab before they left the HQ. "The only thing I had to do was to hear your footsteps and feel your energy. Well, now, youīve got the answer to your quetion." X engaged the vaccine he had implanted into his Saber, "Die now Sigma!" X slashed Sigmaīs body in half with a single blow from his Saber.

"What... My program... is disappearing... Is... this... vaccine... really... going to... finish me...??" Sigma asked with pain as he vanished into the 'nothing' he had created. "You... X,... were... the most... formidable... opponent... I... ever... had........." And after finishing saying that, Sigma disappeared never to revive again.

"Well done X." Zero congratulated his partner. "Now. letīs find a way to get outta here."

"Yeah, youīre ri..." X was interrupted by some kind of earthquake or something like that. "What the heck is that?"

"I donīt know X?" Zero answered. "I have no idea."

"Weīve got to do something!" Proto told Jex. "We canīt let them die once again!"

"I understand your feelings, but what can we do about it?" Jex replied tthe red and grey Hunter. "We donīt even know where they are."

"Oh, yes we know." Proto said as he saw the fortress appear in front of his eyes, and explode. "No, nooo!"

From the flames, two silhouettes emerged smiling at each other. "Proto, Jex!" X shouted as he saw (yes, he saw, the liquid had already gone away) his fellow Hunters. "I see you missed us!"

"X, how can you make jokes in moments like this?" Proto asked X as he hugged him with all his might. "I was really worried about you two."

"Whatīs this strange sensation I feel right now?" Zero asked to himself as his stomach sink, he knew Sigma was destroyed, but he also knew... this was not over yet!
