Work experience

Full Time Work

Developer

Mindcharger Technologies Inc.
Toronto, Ontario
www.juravsky.com

  • Java programmer and developer for a small software company and programmer training centre.
  • I worked on a programming team that developed custom business applications for clients. We developed stand alone applications using Java Swing and the JBuilder IDE. In addition, these applications were also designed for deployment on the web as applets. For one of these applications, EJBs were used and deployed on the Inprise Application Server.
  • I developed web based applications using Java servlets and JSP technologies. Using Visual Age for Java, I used its persistence code to build Javabeans that access a database backend. This code was used as a backend for the web applications.
  • I wrote course notes and labs to be used by my employer for programmer training. These course notes covered various Java or Internet subjects, including servlets, JSP, HTML, XML, and Internet technologies.
  • I developed sections of my employer's new website at www.juravsky.com (static web pages only).
