Huntington Library - Los Angeles, Cafornia
The Huntington Library is one of the best spots in Los Angeles to take
pictures. It is indeed a library, however, it has one of the most
beautiful gardens in the world. The gardens rival The Buchard Gardens in
Victoria, Canada. The gardens are separated into themes such as the Japanese
Garden, Lilly Ponds, Chinese Garden, Desert Garden, etc. This photograph was
taken at the Japanese Garden. The bridge has since been painted brown which in
my opinion was a mistake on their part. Nothing equals the bright red bridge
contrasting the monotonous greens of the garden.
Grand Canyon, Arizona
This picture was taken on a vacation to the Grand Canyon. Luck was not on my side that day. The first day it snowed, grounding
me to my hotel room. The second day a storm came which seemed would
never end. I was about to give up and return to Los Angeles when the
downpour finally stopped. I picked up my camera from the hotel room and ran
to the observation deck at the canyon. I set up the camera as fast as I could
and ended up with one of my favorite pictures. I particularly like the contrast
of the greens with the white clouds.
