STORY LINE
Spawn, a.k.a. Al Simmons, a man whose actions in his previous life were violent and morally questionable, has returned from the dead by making a deal with the devil. He has been given strange powers by the greatest evil of all, Satan. Perhaps in a slim hope that his soul will be redeemed by his own actions, he uses his powers in an attempt to clean the streets of the scum who slip through the legal system. Still trying to put the pieces of his previous life back together and coping with what he has become, Spawn serves as a protector of the innocent, a voice for thos who can't speak for themselves. He's the worst nightmare of the corrupt and evil people who prey on the innocent and powerless in the streets.
