Subject: Mathew Knight
This is a Character that I wrote to post here on the list, and accidently
sent to Palladium instead. (Sorry Maryann). There will be more to follow on
his background and descripiton, I just don't have the time right now to do
it in one shot.
Here's a character I played as an NPC for many years in an on going
campaign. He is pwerful now, but started out as a wimp (as did most of the
team). This is him as of the most recent time I played him. He is the CEO
of CyberTech Industries.
"A lot of people think that my dad has made deals with the devil, and
they're right. Really, I've seen the contract. Now don't go believin' for
one minute that dad owes his soul to anyone. Actually, ole' Scratch owes
his to daddy. Hell went bankrupt a long time ago. I mean really, how do
you support that many people?
You don't believe me? Look at the deed to hell sometime, dad owns nine
tenths of it.

Mathew Knight is one of the richest humans in the Megaverse. Some think of
him as a miserly, penny pinching, greedy coorpoarte type who does nothing
but make money. This is far from the truth. Money and power are but a
means to an end for him. He has seen to many powerful crimanla
organizations. CyberTEch was created to offset that power imbalance. It
became more important to him when KnightWatch began to explore the
Megaverse, and discovered so many powerful alien organizations bent on the
slavery or destruction of mankind. CyberTech's purpose is to help balance
things for humanity.
Add to that, his esposablility as an honorary Timelord, and you have a
pretty stressed indivdual. Few, even in KnightWatch suspect the strain that
he is under. His sister suspects, but only Damien is keenly aware of the
resposiablities hanging over Mathew. Maddie is also aware of the problem
due to her psychic link with her husband.
To make matters wprse, he is quite certain that he has discovered evidence
of a parralel group called KnightStorm, that is evil.
He is considering taking a leave of abscence to investigate the matter
personallly. This could leave just the opening that KnightStorm has been
waiting for.
