Quest for Glory: The Hero's Guild Hall

The color in QFG1 EGA version randomly messes up on me.

Just save your game, exit out and go back in to reset the colors back to normal.

Sometimes when I pick mushrooms or get cheetaur claws, the game says that I am carrying too much and from there on the game acts in weird ways.

Do not save your game. This error happens when you pick certain items and you can't carry anymore. The computer doesn't know what to do and errors start to come. To avoid this, make sure that you have lots of space open or that you fill your bag with enough rocks so that you are beyond your maximum weight limit.

When I am asked to get the horn from the running dinosaur, I get it but I can't get back into the laibon's hut.

Drop the horn, go back into the hut, ask about everything you can until he kicks you out. Then, go back inside and ask about marriage, the leopard lady, the bride price OR anything else it lets you talk about. When he kicks you out again, get another horn and come back. This time you are allowed in.

Whenever I run the race in the simbani village, I constantly get a "you did something that was not expected" error.

Whenever you have to do an action, like throw spears, click on yesufu. It is a way to get around it.

Just as I try to walk out of the cave in the beginning of the game and I am trying to walk down the place just west of the cave, the game gives me an error.

Grab onto to the tree close to you and it will by-pass the error.

When I go south of the swamp to get a scroll and I try to fight the two robed lizards, the game gives me an error.

Just throw daggers/rocks at them until you beat both of them.

When I try to leave the swamp after I get the scroll I get "ERROR #52".

Turn your speed really down or use acrobatics to jump your way out.

When I try to enter the adventurers' guild, the game freezes.

You can fix this by moving the mouse up and down to the top of the screen and back several times. This unfreezes the game until you can get inside, when everything goes back to normal.
