"Drug Stage" is a periodic conference on different aspects of the drug problem which has been held for the past seven years and presents experts from institutions such as universities and hospitals who lecture on the issue of drug problems from the point of view of their different areas of expertise.
IPS has developed professional relations with experts in the field for exchanging and sharing knowledge and experience. Efforts are being made to expand research in the following fields:
* The prevalence of drug-abuse in prisons
* Prisoners’ attitudes and knowledge about drug-abuse
* Medical epidemiological, social and criminological aspects of drug addiction
* Treatment outcome
