    Jedi Mastery
    "The Force"
    Wargear & Armor
    Skills & Abilities
Jedi Mastery is a measure of a Jedi's ability to "utilize" the Force.

Its also represents the maximum number of skills & abilties a Jedi may possess.

A Jedi's Mastery Level is used when you are required to make a "Force Roll". Similar to an Initiative Roll, you must roll under the Jedi's Mastery Level to succeed. A roll of 6 always fails

"The Force is what gives a Jedi his power."

At the beggining of the game roll the required number of D6's for each Jedi. This is the Jedi's Force Pool. Once per turn (including opponent's turn) a Jedi may use its Force Pool to modify a dice result or increase one of its stats. This effect last for the reminder of the turn.

    Maximum increase = +2.

    A Jedi wears no armor.

All Jedi, except Jedi Masters, carry a Lightsaber. Noviciates & Apprentices are still not fully trained in the art of weilding a Lightsaber and so carry a Blaster (same as a Hotshot laspistol).

The points cost of the Jedi's Weapons are included in their cost.

When undergoing training Jedi learn to "utilize" the Force to help enhance their combat performance.

For an extra 10pts you may purchase an extra skill or ability, which is randomly chosen. The number of skills & abilities a Jedi may possess is equal to the Jedi's Mastery Level.

    Jedi Break Test Rules:

"For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice...."

The Jedi are utterly dedicated warriors who will fight and die if need be to ensure peace & justice and the well-being of others. To reflect their high moral and determination Jedi are not subjected to the normal rules for broken troops but to the special Break Test rules used with Space Marines. Noviciates are not yet fully aware to the Jedi cause and take Break Tests as normal - they do not benefit from the special Space Marine Break Test rules.

    Lightsaber Deflection:

"The Lightsaber, whose making was a Jedi's final test."

A novice or apprentice Jedi may carry a Lightsaber with them into battle, but the Lightsaber would not have been made by themself, for themself. It would be constructed for them by the Jedi Master who is training them in the use of a Lightsaber. The final skill taught to an Apprentice is the construction of a Lightsaber, by which time he has been judged worthy to be called a Jedi Knight. Now the new Jedi Knight can construct a Lightsaber according to their specific specifications. This enables the Knight to build a Lightsaber with which they will be better able to weild in battle.

In addition to the normal Lightsaber rules, Jedi Knights have the following special rules:

A Jedi Knight may deflect the shot towards the shooter. If the Jedi Knight successfully saves from the shooting hit, make a BS roll with the following modifiers:

  • Strength of Hit
  • <44-5 6-78 >8
  • BS modifier
  • -2-3 -4-5 -6

*NOTE: Only laser weapon hits can be deflected.

The maximum range that the shot can be deflected back towards the shooter is equal to the "short range" of the weapon which was fired at the Jedi Knight.
