The "Firewolf" is the handle I use all the time. (very brief) Bit of background; I play a game called "Warhammer 40,000". It is set in the 41st millenium. In this far future, Mankind battles for survival against all manners of aliens that seek to destroy it. Not to mention the thing, and its multitudes of minions, called "Chaos".
Mankind's greatest fighting troops are the elite Space Marines. Space Marines are the finest human warriors of all. Genetically tailored and utterly loyal to the Emperor, a Space Marine is stronger and tougher than an ordinary human, with faster reflexes and superior co-ordination. There are only approx. 1 million Space Marines in the galaxy, a very small amount compared with the untold billions of humans throughout the Imperium of Man. The Space Marines are divided into approx. 1,000 "Chapters" of roughly 1,000 Marines each. Each Chapter is divided into 10 Companies, which are the fighting sized units of Marines. One such Chapter is the Space Wolves. This is the Chapter that I play with.
The Space Wolves are unique in that they possess 12 Companies. And the commander of each company is called a "Wolf Lord" rather than a "Captain" of almost all the other Chapters. The "Firewolf" is a Wolf Totem (or icon), of the Space Wolves, that symbolizes a particular Wolf Lord and the Company he commands.
