New Brood

A rule of thumb I learned from Wrestlecrap is that a new version of an old tag team or stable sucks and doesn’t work at all. The Brood was a team of gothic grapplers that were mysterious. Other then having three great wrestlers in the group (Edge, Christian, and the under rated Gangrel) they had the coolest entrance in wrestling history. They would rise out of a ring of fire and then procede to the ring were Gangrel would spit blood up into the air. The tandem fell apart when Gangrel turned on Edge. He was about to give Edge the blood bath (pouring a bucket of fake blood on the opponent while the lights flicker) when Christian came to his brother’s aid and gave Gangrel the blood bath instead. During a match up some time later between E&C and the Hardy Boyz, Gangrel did a run in and helped the Hardy Boyz beat up E&C. The Hardy Boyz’ manager Michael Hayes tried to stop the Hardys and to the shock of everyone turned on him. They banned with Gangrel to from the New Brood. They kept the old Brood entrance and feuded with E&C. The Hardys left Gangrel after winning the Terri Runnel's invitational tournament. You ask me why does this gimmick suck. It sucks because the Brood was a gothic and mysterious team and the New Brood lacked both of those qualities. Getting away from that stupid gimmick has really helped the Hardys, now if they could only get some mic skills.
