- Wrote new documentation for Nichimen’s software suite—reference guides, release notes, installation guides, descriptions of software plug-ins.
- Worked with artists and programmers to build short tutorials for the software.
- Maintained existing documentation by keeping abreast of changes to the software (i.e., plug-ins, patches, new features) and writing updates to the manuals.
- Worked with a team of writers to plan online help for Nichimen’s software suite.

- Managed one section of “Introduction to Technical Writing” per semester:
- Set classroom policies.
- Set a grading scale and grading criteria.
- Chose a textbook and wrote a course syllabus.
- Devised, assigned, and graded writing projects intended to teach writing principles and the structures of common on-the-job documents. I also put together a course packet of articles and book excerpts that supported the projects.
- Created interactive, fun in-class exercises to drill students on writing techniques.

- Updated and edited two large software manuals (included interviewing clients to gather information).
- Edited training kits—instructor guides, student workbooks, and PowerPoint slides. I edited these kits for consistency, style, mechanics, and formatting.
- Helped senior writers by copyediting, indexing, formatting, inputting text, etc.

- Managed two sections of “Intermediate Technical Writing” per semester:
- Set classroom policies.
- Wrote a course syllabus.
- Created in-class exercises; lectured and led discussions about technical writing issues.

Summer 1994.
Updated and revised the Oklahoma County Commissioners’ Handbook. This task included the following:
- Researching the Oklahoma Statutes to see what had been amended or added since the previous release of the document.
- Reorganizing the manual. Originally it was organized chronologically, according to when something was added to the Statutes; I reorganized the book to focus on Commissioners’ tasks.
