General
The Seven Stars is a small organization which is dedicated to the banishment of demonkind from the Fragments. There are apparently never more than 399 members of the organization at any one time. The Seven Stars is based around the number 7, which they hold carries magical properties. (Authors note: why they cap their membership of 399 instead of 343 (seven cubed) - is not clear). The organization functions from a structure known as "Demonspire". I believe Demonspire was constructed under the same principals of the great dragonships, but rather than a ship used to traverse the fragments, this structure is actually a group of seven minarets joined together - all made from skin and bones of dragons (or possibly bones and skin from some demonkind). This has created a floating castle of sorts, from which the Seven Stars is based.

Demonspire must have something similar to the dragonstones to keep it from being destroyed. It does not have a stable orbit, but rather is seems to be a navigatable construction, and has been seen in many locations.

Organization
The Seven Stars has a hierarchy beginning with the Seven Great Hunters. It is said that each of these hunters is a specialist in the tracking and destruction of certain demonkinds. It is known that Vrej Duin (a human) and Elina Toor (an elf) are two of the current Great Hunters. It is said that if a Great Hunter is seen, a powerful tool of evil must be close at hand. The Great Hunters have been known to help villages on occasion against threats not apparently related to Demonkind. Vrej Duin is believed to be well over 200 years old. There are records which seem to suggest that many of the Great Hunters serve for centuries.

Each of the Seven Great Hunters has seven Demon Trackers to serve them, for a total of 49 Demon Trackers. These trackers are a more common site among the fragments. A Demon Tracker with two or three of their Demonswords are reported at least a few times a year.

The final level are the Demonswords. Each of the Demon Trackers has seven Demonswords which report to them, for a total of 343 Demonswords. Often the Demonswords travel in groups of two or threes, tracking the activities of both Demonkind and the evil humans who use them. In the major cities of the larger fragments, one can usually find a Demonswords.

It seems that these members of the Seven Stars are trained in many aspects of combat. Not only do they all seem to possess a great skill of arms, but the Demon Trackers all know the healing arts, while the Great Hunters seem to be accomplished mages as well.

Other Information
Every member of the organization wears identical armor - a bright red chainlink mail emblazoned with seven black stars.

Though I do not know how admission is determined, I do know that one of the tests is simply locating the Demonspire, as it has no set orbit, and it is said to be cloaked in a heavy mist which renders it nearly invisible.
