Teal Greets the Strangers Andrew When the party first notice the strangers, Andrew whispers to the party: "Be prepared for anything, friends. If there is trouble I will go to the back of our little caravan and attack using spells. I will leave the head-smashing job for you warriors". As the strangers approach, you all see Andrew closing his eyes for a moment, concentrating for a moment. Clavel Turning towards Darrin, Clavel whispers quickly, "Keep your cousin out of sight. They may be looking for her. And don't be hiring them without making sure that they can be trusted." As soon as Andrew finishes his spell, he whispers to Andrew, "What did you cast?" Seeing the strangers approaching, but with their swords sheathed, Clavel smiles at the strangers and hails them, "Good day friends! Hath thee any news of the road ahead?" Calador I Ready my armor and weapons. Then I place my helmet on. Long Sword with my hand placed on it. I say good day travelers. Methos At the sight of the strangers approaching, Methos has unslung his bow and notched an arrow, ready to fly. He casually holds them in place with his left hand, placing them in clear view on his side. He does not bother to get off the horse, but instead gently moves the horse slightly to the side of the encounter area, as to get good coverage of the strangers. Likewise, his sword has been loosened in its shealth. Teal Squadron: The strangers The group consists of three humans and two elves. The elves are both male and are sylvan or moon(silver elves are known as moon, in the Realms) elves. The lead human, who nudges her horse a little farther towards your group while the rest remain back a pace or two, is an older female in her fifties by her wizened features. Of the other two humans, both are male, one about the age of the leader and the other a teenager. Clavel rides forward to parley, while Darrin quickly urges his horse up alongside Zeptha and both drop back to the front of the cart. Clavel calls out cheerfully, "Good day friends. Hath thee any news of the road ahead?" The woman replies, wearing a friendly enough smile, "Good day, travellers. Agrardon, at your service. We have been four days on the road out of Waterdeep, though it breaks our heart to leave just now. The road is well traveled with merchants. We have passed several caravans. Though all are a couple of days ahead of you. You should hurry on, or you will miss the opening day of the festival. There is nothing overly dangerous ahead of you. Be you merchants?" she asks innocently. You all keep your eyes out and listen intently, but you see nothing and hear nothing untoward. Strangely, even the riders with Agrardon, don't move a muscle. Though whether this is good or bad, who can say. At least they haven't reached towards their weapons.
