The News Net Terminals
As you get tired of walking around in the Hiring Hall, you head over to a nearby cafe. After ordering some coffee and some snacks, you turn on the news terminal built into the table.
You think to yourself that at least you'll be able to keep up with what's going on as the news reports loads. All the news that's fit to print now waits for you organized by date as you sip your coffee and munch on your food.
Well, it's been a long time since I've had time to update the
page. With work, school, holidays, and getting sick; I haven't
been able to do many of the things that I wanted to get to. For
instance, I still haven't had the time to finish up the 'Mech files
for the Technology Bazaar, or even put any real effort in converting
my missions into html. But I have started finding web rings to join
to get more people roaming through these pages. Besides that, I've
started to put up house histories at the mission database along with
the timelines that FASA has published on the web. These timelines
have not been changed in any way and can also be found on the FASA
homepage.
On my agenda is finishing what I've started and not adding any new
sections that would keep me from finishing sections that I've started
on already. Well this is of course based on the fact that I don't
get any more "moments of inspiration" and go crazy with something
totally tangent to what I have so far.

I have finally started releasing missions for all types of players
to use. These were missions originally to be used for campaigns
that I run for my friends. Over the years, I have written pages
of these missions, but have yet to format them into html files. This
is the first step in a long process of converting my scriblings into
part of this web page.
Aside from the missions finally getting put up, I have compiled a list
of monthly payrates for many types of character types. This should
help in determining the amount of pay any unit should get. The pay
multipliers are also calculated using the rules from "Mercenary's
Handbook 3055" from FASA, minus the multiplier for Dragoon Rating.

This web page was created so that Battletech players can get together
in a free thinking atmosphere. There will be missions available for all
to play, new BattleMechs to use, and a database of players and GMs from
all over. Aside from these game related aspects, this page also contains
a list of links that will be updated as soon as possible. Please e-mail
me if you want to add yourself to the database of players. The forms to
do all that is still in the proccess of being created. The order that
things will be updated are mechs/equipment, missions, database of people,
and last will be the links. This is a general outline of what will be
coming soon.
All of the graphics and sounds (soon to be available) are found
somewhere on the internet or made available through friends. All the
new Mechs are my own, and soon to be including designes made by others.
The program that I use to create the Mechs is Mechworks, which can be
found on this page. Some of the files found will be at an alternate
site (http://annex.com/chowder/). This server has been known to crash at
times, so please come back and check for the files.
