Restaurants in Killington

Max's Place - Sunrise Village - Killington. Actually located trailside! Great restaurant to go to for lunch. Good burgers/sandwiches and pizza.

Grist Mill - Killington Rd. Nice building - Mainly meat. Food was OK - nothing special.

Peppino's - Italian restaurant at beginning of Killington Rd. Decent reviews from what I've seen...

Sushi Yoshi's - On the Killington Rd. Only chinese/japanese place at Killington. Actually pretty good! If you're willing to spend the extra cash, the Hibachi is expensive - but very very good - the chefs actually put on a very good show (I've been to a lot of Hibachi's across the country, and was very impressed!)

Johnny Boys Pancake House - Killington Road - great place for breakfast! A visit to Killington without hitting Johnny Boys is a wasted visit. This is our friend Glen's favorite place at Killington...

Zola's Grille - located at the Cortina Inn North Italian/Mediterranean cuisine. Got some pretty good reviews.

Hemingway's - Waaaayyyyy too expensive for a little ski trip. Supposed to be best in vermont though...

Wobbly Barn Steakhouse - famed local eatery on the Killington Rd. Has a pretty good salad barn, decent steaks. Worth the visit.

Favorite Trails in Killington

Great Eastern - One of the reasons to come to Killingon - a long long long trail. Beginner - but a great long ride! Connects Killington Peak, Skye Peak, Snowshed, and Bear Mountain. Can take a good 45 minutes if you take your time - 15 to 20 minutes if you take it very fast. Lots of good trails off of this also...

Great Eastern/Wanderer/Falls Brook w/optional Pipe Dream - nice beginner/easy intermediate run. Gets you to a great place to eat lunch if you know the turn off!

Great Northern - a long beginner trail from the top of Killington Peak. Goes through Snowdon and Rams Head. Past the Killington base area - its pretty flat - basically only useful only to get to your car or Rams Head base area. Good connecting trail for half of the mountain...

Rams Head Mountain - Header - great intermediate trail - basically a straight down run.

Skye Peak Mountain - Most of my favorite intermediates are off of this mountain... Bittersweet/High Road is a nice trail, as is Upper Skylarke/High Road
